Martha was consumed with serving. Distracted by what Mary was doing, she deceived herself into believing she knew better than Jesus did. Jesus' simple response was that Mary had chosen the more beneficial part. As we look at the story of Mary & Martha, may we realize that Jesus is calling us to focus on Him & be in fellowship with Him.
